Arsène Wenger initially took this as an insult but after a sincere reflection and self-meditation, came out to apologize to José Mourinho this morning in a press briefing on Hot Swen TV. In Wenger’s words “I sincerely apologize to José Mourinho, all Chelsea Fans and all Gunner fans. I know I have disappointed everyone. I don’t know what came over me. I know I messed up. I don’t even know what to do to correct all this rubbish I have done. I could have just resigned but I am scared they might employ someone like me again. I am a specialist in failure, Mourinho was right. I will try my best to win a trophy for Arsenal soon, ok I was just kidding, no trophy sorry. “
