GIRL WITH 27K TWITTER FOLLOWERS IN LOVE WITH BOY WITH 120 FOLLOWERS, FAMILY DISAPPROVES.

A Nigerian man has been asked by his girlfriend’s father to get twenty thousand Twitter followers in a month if he wants to marry her.
Dr Swen who goes by Twitter handle @hot_swen, an avid tweeter of funny stories with just 120 Twitter followers, could somehow manage to impress a female Twitter celeb, Toke a.k.a @tokstarr with 27,000 twitter followers.
Love brewed between them, even though many of Toke's followers accused Dr Swen of tweeting funny tweets just to impress every girl on twitter. However, Toke rejected such claims from “trolls” and finally she decided to marry Dr Swen to get a verified relationship status.
But unlike Dr Swen, who belongs to a humble non-Twitter-family, Toke is from an affluent Twitter celeb family. Her father, mother, brother, uncle, cousins, all are Twitter celebs with thousands of followers.

For the first time in his life, Dr Swen realized how socially poor he was.
“When I reached Toke’s home, the first question her father asked was how many Twitter followers I had. He started laughing when I said I had about 120 followers,” Dr Swen recalled the fateful day when his dreams came crashing down.
“That many number of followers my daughter makes in just one tweet. How can you even dream of keeping her happy?” Toke’s father is reported to have told Dr Swen.
“I have heard that a couple of their relatives have verified Twitter accounts too,” Dr Swen explained how much socially affluent the girl’s family was.

Sources revealed to HotSwen TV that Toke’s father hacked into his daughter’s account and blocked Dr Swen that same night. Not only that, he decided to get Toke married to a guy with 45K followers.
Incensed with this incessant trolling targeted at her lover, Toke decided to report her family’s abusive behaviour on twitter. She warned her father that she will quit Twitter if not allowed to marry Dr Swen.
Scared of losing a family twitter jewel, Toke’s dad has relented. But he put a condition for marriage – Dr Swen will have to prove his mettle by getting at least 20 thousand followers in a month.
Latest reports suggest that Dr Swen has put Genevieve Nnaji’s picture as his twitter display picture in an attempt to meet the target set by his future father-in-law.
