The Lagos State Government today released a press statement through FRSC commander. The statement which was read by the FRSC commander, Mr Henry Bamidele , states that road safety corps has just concluded a survey which indicates that 70 percent of accidents which occur on Lagos roads are as a result of reckless driving of women .
In the words of the commander " Women in Lagos state are usually very emotional on the steering wheels and get carried away easily. They love competition and and often engage in over-speeding. The state government has therefore place a ban on female drivers on Lagos roads. From Friday Nov 1st 2013, any female driver found driving a car, a bus, or any other type of automobile in Lagos state would be arrested and prosecuted" .
