The Don tried to pay the kidnappers off immediately with the money he had just gotten from his show which was still in his car’s boot but they rejected it claiming they were sent by their boss. The Don’s brother, D’Prince contacted H.S to help in negotiating with the kidnappers.
When we called Don Jazzy’s number the voice we heard on the other end was that of Wande Coal. We suspect that this could be linked to the recent breakup of the black diamond from Mavin records. What is really weird is that the kidnappers are not asking for cash ransom,instead, they said they only want the Don to write a few songs for their new album after which he would be set free.
