Mavin Records Kicks out Wande Coal, Signs Ebenezer Obey

Following the war of words which occurred between Africa’s black diamond, Wande Coal and Don Jazzy yesterday, the Mavin Record crew headed by Don Jazzy has taken a rather smart decision.

Don Jazzy has complained bitterly about musicians stealing his songs without giving him any credit. He went on twitter yesterday to pour out some of his anger on Wande Coal. Wande however, didn’t find this funny at all and immediately replied Don Baba J, telling him he can’t stop him.

When Hot Swen News contacted Don Jazzy today, he said he was tired of dealing with all these small boys stealing his songs but he has finally found a solution to all these. Don Jazzy has decided to stay off the microphone for a while and focus more on writing song lyrics.
Mavin Record contacted highlife musician, Ebenezer Obey, this morning to discuss a record deal with him and the outcome was positive. The Don will therefore be writing lyrics for the newest member of the Mavin records Label, Evangelist Ebenezer Obey.
Don Jazzy believes Ebenezer Obey will give him a lot of credits for all the songs he will be writing for him. He made reference to some of the highlife singer’s tracks in which he praised wealthy people in the society. Don Jazzy said he really can’t wait to start hearing his name in some songs again.
Don Jazzy however noted that he still misses D’Banj so much and he keeps on having dreams of the koko master shouting “ It’s Don Jazzy again ! ”
