Popular Nollywood actor, John Okafor AKA Mr Ibu ,has made public his intention to contest in the next presidential election. Mr Ibu who is known for his funny roles in Nigerian movies made this announcement at the Eagles Square, Abuja.
Ibu said "I know a lot of my fans think I am a very unserious person because of the roles in play in my movies, but I want you all to know that I can do far better than most of the leaders we have had in this country .I think most of them are comedians as well, look at the situation of the country and you would agree with me."
When asked what he plans to do differently from other past leaders, Mr Ibu said "do differently? I won’t be any different o! In fact I go chop money die. You see this my stomach ehn, it will be twice as big as this." Mr Ibu made it clear that he would cancel electricity in Nigeria and also ban all means of telecommunication and transportation. He would make sure all Nigerians become farmers, hunters and fishermen. There would be nothing like ASUU strike because there will be neither schools nor lecturers.
Mr Ibu believes he is the solution to Nigeria's problems, let’s all support him and make sure he gets elected in.
