The Fifa president, Sepp Blatter , made a shocking announcement this morning . Blatter said, the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) has come up with a decision to stop the UEFA championship games by 2014.
This decision was reached after several meetings among FIFA top officials and top fans. Statistics have shown that fans all over the world die every year during the UEFA championship competitions due to excessive celebration of victory or rivalry among fans.
German team, Bayern Munchen won the league this year while Chelsea FC was the champion of 2012. Many fans of the winning teams were assassinated by their counterparts in the non-winning teams out of envy. Quite a large number of fans also end up drinking excessively and having dangerous celebrations.
FIFA has therefore decided to stop the UEFA champion’s league from 2014 and encourage fans to participate in other sports such as swimming, volleyball, cycling and dodge ball.
